Religious Life
SMMS offers a robust religious program on campus, complete with school-wide prayer every morning, a weekly school-wide Mass, daily classroom instruction, and plenty of opportunities to work hard and be Christ throughout the school day and through service projects. Read below for more information.
DAILY PRAYER
We gather every morning, with the exception of Mass days, for prayer and morning announcements before the school day gets started.
CLASS INSTRUCTION
We incorporate religious instruction into each of our classrooms. For more information about our religion curriculum, please explore this page.
ALTAR SERVICE
Students can become altar servers in 5th grade and beyond. Interested students should speak to their religion teacher to get involved.
WEEKLY MASS
We hold our school-wide Masses very close to our heart. These are a great way for our school community to engage with God through His Word and the Eucharist.
SERVICE PROJECTS
Students are presented with ways to put their faith in action throughout the year. Past projects include a toy drive, a nursing home visit, a beach clean up, and more!

WORK HARD & BE CHRIST
Our school motto is one that we seek to instill in our students daily, through instruction and guidance both inside and outside of our classrooms. All of our staff are committed to ensuring your student's development by helping them recognize opportunities to apply faith-based principles and look like Jesus in their community.
