Clubs and Activities
We work hard to make SMMS feel like home for every student. As part of our efforts, we offer various opportunities for your student to get involved on campus and meet new friends.

STUDENT COUNCIL
SMMS Student Council is for 7th and 8th grade students who enjoy planning fun events and initiatives for the school to enjoy. Elections take place at the end of each school year.

CHOIR
Students in 3rd grade and up can join our choir. They meet once a week at lunch to rehearse songs for our school-wide Mass. Students are also provided with opportunities to canter.

STUDENT BUDDIES
If you like volunteering with younger students, talk to our TK or K teachers about how you can help them during lunch! Past jobs have included line leading, playing with them at recess, filling up water bottles, and more!

YEARBOOK CLUB
Our yearbook club meets once a week afterschool to plan out our school's yearbook. They also attend various events to get photos.

SUPERQUIZ
SuperQuiz is an academic competition between local schools that takes place every other year. The SuperQuiz club studies hard and memorizes facts about their topic for months to try to get St. Mary's first place.

ELECTIVES
Middle-school students get to participate in two elective courses during their second trimester. We offer a variety of classes, and try to put students in classes that peak their interest.

HOUSE MEETINGS
Each student is placed into one of four houses, which are led by our 8th graders. They meet once a month to talk about faith and character formation and get to know each other while playing fun games.

CREATE YOUR OWN!
We welcome students idea's and initiative when it comes to starting clubs on campus. All they need is 5 members, a moderator, and permission from the principal.
